Respecting Cultural Norms

This is our new policy on Respecting Cultural Norms:
“There should be respect for British culture and customs by everyone in the country. We will require adherence to indigenous cultural norms in official and employment settings, e.g.:
- A ban on face coverings in work environments where communication with other people is part of the job, except where they are necessary for health and safety reasons. This especially includes schools where the ability to see facial expressions and make eye contact is vital for children’s social development.
- An expectation to adhere to uniform standards e.g. all policemen and guardsmen should wear a standard helmet, with no cultural exceptions for minorities.
- English to be expected as the single language of communication in workplaces (or English/Welsh or English/Gaelic in bilingual workplaces where appropriate), apart from common-sense exceptions such as foreign language classes.
- Prohibit job, trainee or internship advertisements for non-white people only.
In addition, we will rescind permission for minority groups to carry ceremonial weapons that are generally prohibited.”
We are sure you will agree, this is common sense that is needed to defend our culture and heritage.
