Slashing Work and Study Visas

This is our new Heritage Party policy on cutting work and study visas to reduce immigration, ending 40 years of mass rapid immigration and leading to a period of net emigration from the UK.

Work Visas

“We will slash the number of work visas to an annual maximum of 100,000. Work visas must not be given to unskilled workers and must be reserved only for highly skilled jobs where there are no British people who could fill a vacant position.

There are currently 125,067 businesses that have been given the right to sponsor visas. Clearly, tens of thousands of these are immigration scams. We will remove all businesses without any high-skilled positions from the visa sponsor scheme, including the thousands of vape shops, Turkish barbers, nail bars and car washes that are currently registered.”

Study Visas

“We will slash the number of student visas to an annual maximum of 100,000. Only students with high academic ability who can support themselves financially should qualify for a study visa. 

We will remove low grade courses and scam institutions from the study visa sponsor scheme.”
