Britain confirms withdrawal from EU military missions

According to Reuters, Her Majesty’s Government has confirmed that the UK will no longer be involved in EU military missions from December 31st.

For those of us who have been concerned at the possibility of continued involvement in the EU Defence Force (PESCO), this announcement is excellent news. Taken at face value, this should pave the way for the UK to remove itself from any further financial and resources commitment. We await further clarification.
